The dupes are really good, so in my opinion there is no point spending that much on the original BR540.

I don't dislike the smell and will still be wearing my fragrance, but I think it's more of a random day sort of pick and not a go-to for special occasions. I don´t like doing negative reviews, especially since I consider Kurkdijan one of the best perfumers today, so I’ll rip this one quick and easy like a bandaid.I never would have bought a full sized bottle if I had known that the tables would have turned like this.

It's synthetic and clinical, with a dusty quality, and is an assault on the senses, permeating every space it graces; it's compelled me to move away from people wearing it because it's nausea inducing.Initially quite disrupting and synthetic - especially with that scratchy, salty Evernyl blaring over it all. The cedar notes are very strong for me personally and it reminds me of the cedar chips I would use as my hamster's bedding. You'll regret it because the mfk peoples are shady and doing crappy business, with crappy sales representatives, selling a watered down version of what used to be an actual good fragrance. Overall, because of its similarity to a perfume I already love, I do like it but that also means it doesn't justify existing in my collection.
