This does sound like such a unique and fun read! I keep hearing such wonderful things about this author and I think that this book is going onto my tbr. Humour and great side characters are just what I need! 😉 I love this book so much????? If you’re looking for a great spicy romcom, RUN, don’t walk to read this. She has so many great books. I have read everything she’s released since Stroked and I don’t think there’s been a dud. She’s really slaying it this year, though. I would recommend any of her books. She’s in KU, if you use that.

We’re talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love . . . and engaged. Can you imagine? When It Falls Apart by Catherine Bybee: Review, excerpt, interview with the author, and a giveaway! But
we are still artists at the end of the day. And yes, we may just be a little sensitive about it. i actually enjoyed the characters! the characters were surprisingly multifaceted and (gasp!) i didn’t really get annoyed by them, which is rarer in contemporary romance than i would like.Lottie (28) gets fired by one of her supposedly close friends, Angela, and is escorted out of the building as soon as she is. She goes home to her mom’s house, who is expecting her to get a promotion the following week so she can finally get her own place (because her mom and younger boyfriend like walking around she house
naked 😅😂). She’s afraid to tell her what happened, because her family has constantly told her not to trust Angela. She pretends to go to work but really goes to her sister’s to make a plan. One of her plans is to meet a rich hubby, Pretty Woman style, and hopefully get all her prayers answered. Well, she does

You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation. Even though I got really attached to the main characters they both annoyed me at times and I thought Huxley could be quite toxic at times especially at the end he turned on on Lottie so fast and immediately jumped down her throat, accusing her rather than approaching her with the issue and asking her about it. Then he tried to play the victim. Not cool! Rosa, Christopher (August 12, 2021). "Kaley Cuoco Just Debuted Some Chic Blunt Bangs". Glamour . Retrieved August 25, 2021.I've got a unique situation, I'm aware, regarding AI-generated content. On the one hand, as a marketing writer, I see the benefits of AI tools to help with brainstorming, research, or rewrites. It could help content creators be more efficient and produce better content.

Ignoring Lottie entirely, she asks, “Huxley Cane, is that you?” Am I supposed to know her? Because she’s making it seem as if we know each other. I shift in my seat, moving closer to Lottie as my arm slips up to her shoulder rather than resting on her chair. “I’m sorry, have we met?” I ask. Lottie leans in toward me. Her body language is screaming for help. I reassure her with a stroke of my hand over her shoulder. Angela waves her hand and says, “You’re too funny. We met at the Stardom Gala last year. I was the gorgeous goddess in the purple floor-length dress.” She tosses her hair over her shoulder. “Huh,” I say, tilting my head. “Can’t quite place you.” We're talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love . . . and engaged. Can you imagine? As for the last line ... that is pretty accurate. I write about tough topics and morally grey characters. One of my slogans is "Bad guys need love too," if that gives you any picture. (And my "guys" is inclusive over here. Like my dude.) Let me just finish this review off by saying that I actually hadn’t expected to get emotional at all during this book. But the ending did things to me, I just absolutely loved these characters together. I could just feel their happiness flowing through me at that ending, and then I shred a few tears. Which was probably the last thing I expected. Also this book is a little like the movie “Pretty Woman” just more romcom like, which is amazing to me because I loved Vivian and Edward in Pretty woman, it’s one of my all time favorite movies, and I would really recommend this movie if you loved this book.LOTTIE WAS ENTERTAINING but her characterization was a bit confusing. She was a self-characterized "doormat", but I actually found her to be incredibly confrontational, especially when it came to Huxley. So it was harder to understand her. I’ve said this with every new release from Meghan Quinn this year, but she is on fire with her books. I don’t know how she keeps managing to release such unique, amazing romances one right after the other, but I’m here for it! I have loved every one I’ve read this year and that includes A Not So Meet Cute. Because,” she says with a smile, “I need to know if I have to act like a happy fiancĂ©e, or a truly satisfied fiancĂ©e.”
