Romance Billionaire Romance Erotic Young Adult Crime Fantasy Vampires Science Fiction Thriller Horror Classics Suspense I found this book to be an extremely easy read with lots of laughter thrown in. I’m looking forward to book 3 now to see what happens to this friendship group next. Like Icebreaker, I really enjoyed the friendships between everyone, they all got on great and had so much respect for each other.

To me Wildfire was exactly that. Demanding many breaks and lots of thought, Wildfire was an emotional and an intellectual experience, within which I was sifting through all my memories, past relationships, and those of others I know, trying to understand Aurora and Russ . I can’t recall a time before this that I related to the male protagonist of a story first, so it was initially confusing that I couldn’t understand the female protagonist the same way. This resulted in me taking a pause at around 34%, trying to comprehend why I was struggling and began dealing with all the notions I had about the way the characters, their past, and their struggles were written. Their small interactions with one another throughout the day had me giddy and wanting so much more. It was kind of the same rush as to when you have a crush on a boy at school, it was nostalgic and Hannah executed it perfectly! Russ leaves for his summer job as a counselor at Honey Acres, a children’s camp, the next day. What he wasn’t expecting is for Aurora’s summer plans also to include escaping to Honey Acres. After hashing out the misunderstandings of their night together, the pair is still left with plenty of obstacles keeping them apart. Number one being the no fraternization rule between counselors, will they give into the chemistry and risk their only means to escape what they are running from?We only saw them for a short while though as we head to summer camp where we spend the majority of the book. Aurora (Rory 😍) is a wild child. The poster girl for acting out to get her father’s attention. Never getting the attention she needs or wanted from her parents Aurora keeps everyone at arms length. They can’t hurt her if she doesn’t let them in right? Imagine their surprise when they bump into each other on their first day as summer camp counsellors, hoping to escape their complicated home lives for the summer break. stars. Whoops might of gone and finished this in a day! I was so excited to read this after finishing Icebreaker earlier this year.

Two summer camp counselors who reconnect after a sizzling one-night stand. Maple Hills students Russ Callaghan and Aurora Roberts cross paths at a party celebrating the end of the academic year, where a drinking game results in them having a passi... They also both have daddy issues which has caused them both so much grief in their lives so far. It’s really nice that they both have that in common and are able to help each other out. Same with Russ' brother Ethan... he was a horrible person and then no closure at the end for Russ? Not even a satisfying scene where Russ gets to yell at him or something? Hated it.This pair are champions at miscommunication which is a trope I don’t really like, however it was not over the top and it didn’t bother me at all. I wasn't a fan of Icebreaker and DNF'd it at 20% because the FMC was insufferable. When Wildfire released, I was on the fence about giving the author another go, but as always was influenced by the social media powers that be. I didn't hate this one, but I also know I'll never read it again. It was a whole lot of nothing and everything at the same time if that makes any sense. I don't know if the author is just trying too hard with her characters to make them seem relatable, but it was almost cringe worthy. The FMC was a romance book lover who points out at one stage early on that they're being the miscommunication trope and I nearly put the book down there and then. Instead I pushed through and finished it. I won't say too much else since I think it's important people form their own opinions about this, but personally I don't think these books are for me.

From the author of TikTok sensation Icebreaker comes a deliciously swoonworthy romance following two summer camp counsellors who reconnect after a sizzling one-night stand. Something about a book set at a summer camp makes it so nostalgic and lovable. RUSS FREAKING CALLAGHAN comes out of left field with his mouth. He has everything you want from a golden retriever MMC but when he is in the bedroom😮‍💨I was really drawn to the character development throughout their relationship. Both working through their struggles gives the reader a sense of why our MMC and FMC process and react the way they do while also allowing the reader to see the growth they have both made. This book was great and had a great story line with alot of emotion in it and can easily relate to the characters life and their challenges they face. Noooothing like Nate whatsoever, Russ is modest, shy and so nervous—especially when you get him alone around Aurora who he thinks is not only way out of his league, but the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen! There definitely isn’t as much spice in this book as there is in Icebreaker. This goes from a one night stand to a slow burn. But because it’s Hannah Grace, the spice is spicing when you get to it.My original review had tons more (well deserved) praise for the book but now I'm on a time crunch, 'cause I'm doing this at work, so this will have to do. Looking at her makes me want to be the funniest guy in the room, so I can be the one to make her laugh.” We started off the book seeing everyone that we met in Icebreaker which was lovely, I always love seeing how people are doing throughout a series. And don’t get me started on the things that came out of Russ’s mouth!! Holy Dooley is it hot in here or what 🫠
