We tried to avoid adding too much cinematic color grading to the game so we could have a richer and more vibrant look. The concept art also shows where settlers have build homes among the highest stadium seating, but these remain walled off in-game.We achieved this by focusing on an interesting mix of patterns and textures for the high-tech materials and adding details that grounded the design. Their unique, pulpy sci-fi quality is wholly original in the post-apocalyptic genre, and Fallout 4 needed a distinct look to make it a definitive Fallout game. These people were passionate about the world they created and it exudes right out of this totem of artistic genius. Take my word for it that this was no last-minute put together job as some desperate means of cash in. Within the illustration, you can almost feel the suffering of the workers who were trapped here when the bombs fell.

This concept art shows that Bethesda knows how to show off the eerie swamplands of Southern Louisiana.
