This kind of book which the protagonist died in the end, it is no common what made me feel really surprised, so I can say that I liked this book. The book is 700 plus pages and covers some of my favorite sci-fi romance tropes: alien abduction, space opera, and alien gladiator. So gripping, your hands are glued to the book, and so vivid it burns itself into your mind's eye and stays with you long after you turn the final page. The deceit and betrayal that is the backbone of the story is well crafted and by the final chapters you'll be gripped to read the outcome, even if you have seen the film.
