Imo it does get a little far fetched at the end, I know it's fiction but for me personally it has to be somewhat believable for me to give a 5* rating. This book is filled with plot twists and when you think you have it figured out, there's further reveals. The few issues I had in the first 30% which kept my rating from being higher was that I felt the author was trying too hard to tell me how to feel as the hints and 'thriller elements' weren't subtle.

I am still reeling … outstanding … If you love a top notch psychological thriller that will have you questioning your own sanity , then this 5 star read is for you . But she soon finds out… and by the time I realize my attic bedroom door only locks from the outside, it’s far too late. So many twists and turns … I was hooked right away – I even read my Kindle while waiting in my kid’s school pick-up line so I wouldn’t have to put this book down!

They have a great time and drink too much at dinner afterward, so they stay at a hotel in the city overnight.

AND IF YOU HAVE READ THIS BOOK, PUT DOWN WHATEVER YOU’RE READING AND GRAB ANOTHER FREIDA MCFADDEN BOOK! I’m certainly not one for spoilers but it’s safe to say the twists come and while I had some inkling the events that played out were so much better and more terrifying than I could have imagined.
