About this deal

of course, we see him nervous from his pov, but he knows what he likes and applies that to oak and their rendezvous. don't you love it when the mcs have cute moments that you'd probably go crazy over if you were invested in their romance, but you're not bc of the rushed pacing and lack of (emotional) development? Somehow fate has them ending up at the same university and on the same hockey team, a sport which they both love no matter how much they "hate" each other that is the one thing they seem to have in common.

e interesting plotines too, not all involving hockey, but maybe yes, how he has to carry on a family’s legacy from over 15 years. Since this has been hanging untouched on my kindle for over a month, I think it’s time to admit defeat.Quinton and Oakley navigate their new sexual relationship and begin to develop romantic feelings for one another. I liked it this way because it made things cuter that big, bad Quinn was the softie in the relationship. having a preference isn’t the problem here, it’s the fact that his inner monologue is often (and i mean OFTEN) invalidating them, and their journey of self-exploration. So as they find a reason to spend more time together and are forced to get to know each other, their connection isn’t only in the bedroom. Yet, days later Oakley is still thinking about the bad boy with a temper and his crazy idea is starting to hold merit.

he let oak see another part of him entirely, beyond just sex, oak got to see a part of quinn that was raised by his au pair. Exceeding all expectations, Iced Out is the perfect start to the Leighton U series, guaranteed to have readers desperate for what's to come next. The angst in this book isn't non-existent, but it's pretty low-key; at least, the bigger conflict is pretty quickly resolved. Overall, this was an enjoyable book, but I probably won’t prioritize the next book in the series on my TBR (unless it’s the roommate’s book). If you're craving a bit of toecurling M/M, witty banter and split grin inducing cuteness, I highly recommend!

BUT that’s not to say there aren’t some softer and more tender moments that happen between them that really make you swoon for them. Narration: Everyone and their uncle knows I was one of the witches at home casting spells to bring Mr Fox back into this gig of narrating books.one night at a party, they see each other and start bickering which leads to taunting each other about who’d be better in bed which leads to quinn dragging oak into a bathroom to prove him wrong. O bom desse livro é que não teve todo aquele drama de sair do armário que li em outros livros do tema ( não que não seja importante) só queria uma coisa diferente disso e teve aqui. So there I was, firmly expecting to be underwhelmed, when at some point, I actually began liking it. The “Betrayal” Wasn’t Entirely One’s Fault…So the big third act breakup involves an act of “betrayal” and that’s all I’ll say about that, but part of me always felt like one kind of unfairly put more blame on the other when the other couldn’t fully even control that what happened had actually happened.

Iced Out is the first in a five book stand-alone college sports romance series featuring two misunderstood rival teammates, snarky banter, and more secret spicy times than any audiobook should be filled with. Eine fesselnde Enemies to Lovers Geschichte mit zwei tollen Protagonisten, viel Gefühl ❤️, Spice 🌶️ und einem schönen Happy End 🥰!yeah, quinn would pretty much throw a punch for funsies, but oak thought himself higher than the rest of the world.
