About this deal

Remember to dry your hair before making a decision on whether the colour removing product has worked as wet hair looks a lot darker than dry. The maximum strength edition works in 60 minutes and the normal strength product works in 30 minutes. So word of warning: if you have thick, long hair like mine and you use two boxes at a time, make sure you use the buffer in BOTH boxes.

As it says in the instructions, the molecules are still present in the hair at this stage, so if you skimp on the rinsing, the old dye won't be washed out - I'd say this is the reason why folk on here are giving bad reviews and claiming it didn't work. I think that JoBaz Hair Colour Remover is best suited for anyone wanting to fix up a hair horror, or anyone wanting to remove a previous colour before trying something new. I had hair half way down my back, have had for 12 years, after using this my hair ALL broke off, had to get it cut to shoulders. You may also want to use a deep conditioning treatment or a protein filler to strengthen your hair and prepare it for re-colouring. Having seen and heard of JoBaz Colour Removers before but not had access to them, I’ve often wondered how they would perform.BrilliantSo i have long permed hair which the salon had coloured red however the colour had faded and looked bad . My hair felt a little dry afterwards so after shampooing twice with the buffer and rinsing very well I applied a hair masque and left it in for 10 minutes. Does what it saysI was nervous after all the negative reviews but in desperate need of lifting years of colour build up which had culminated in a very orange brown base with pink highlights.

We followed the instructions which again are almost IDENTICAL to Colour B4 (So if you want a detailed how to, look at my post here) and left the product developing for 50 minutes before we commenced with the rinsing and buffering. But it did reasonable job of getting a couple of years of dye on top of dye on top of dye out of my hair. Once part C is used like a shampoo and lathered up you must rinse again for at least another 12 minutes. Imagine my surprise when, after applying a permanent red dye a week later, I lift the shower cap off my head to see that my hair has reverted back to black! This was after two separate applications, using two boxes each time (my hair is very long and thick).

After dying my naturally light brown hair black multiple times, I decided I wanted to go back as close to my natural colour as possible. Worked on removing red hairI had bright red hair which I had for about a year, topped up in between permanent colour with a semi to keep vibrancy. I'm naturally a dark blonde and have been dying my hair for years now all darker shades and it has so much build up I've been mahogany, and most shades of reds and purples but most recently dark brown which was More like a black and with one application of this it's down to like a golden brown it's still got the dark brown through it, it just looks like I have highlights now but I'm thinking another one or two applications of the remover all the dark hair should be gone well here's hoping :) So overall I'm just happy that it actually lightened my hair at all. xDD Surprisingly enough, when I went out to run some errands, people came up to me and complimented my hair. I also had some red build up under the black, so I was fully expecting I might end up with a red tint after using this colour remover.

You'll want to ensure you choose a hair colour remover that's suitable for your hair type and colour. It did what it said on the box, it did remove the unwanted colour although I personally felt some were left behind.

Didn’t workI have used colour before a few times over the years and have always had amazing results however last night I decided to remove my black dye again having last dyed my hair black about 3 months ago and used the same dye I always use.
