This book 100% reminded me a lot of Louis Sachar's Wayside School which was one of my favorite books of all time growing up so I knew right from the start that I would enjoy Little Lunch: Loads of Laughs and I most certainly did. Renamed and repackaged from “Loads of Laughs” after the success of the TV adaptation, this is the first Little Lunch book I’ve read, and it was great fun.Based on the hit Australian TV series picked up by Universal Kids and Netflix, Little Lunch is a little silly — and a lot of fun. Goncha's class got into compared to the Wayside School students (luckily nobody got turned into apples) but the modern plot twists and the new take on school happenings was really such a joy to read.
