Nothing else is new with the Model D, we get the same honeycomb see-through shell, the same awesome lighting integrations, the same DPI switch up top but with the DPI LED at the bottom, the same Pixart 3360 sensor with moisture resistant coating, and the same smooth G-Skates that complete the package. Well there is already many reviews about this mouse on YouTube and best believe there is a reason for them being positive in every video.
Edit 2: The replacement looks like an older version (with blue skates and the non-ascended cable), I'll update if this one squeaks too. colours and eight effects to choose from (customisable via software or on the switch on the mouse) you can choose the exact colours you need. The Glorious PC Gaming Race Model D- is a more compact version of the regular Model D and comes with an optical Pixart PMW 3360 sensor and six buttons. I hope Glorious can fix this via an update because all mouses have a switch as the main controller even when plugged in.
Software is downloadable and adds standard stuff for a mouse of this quality like adjustable DPI, configurable lighting and macros.When compared to the wired version of the Model D, the wireless version has no holes on the mouse buttons.
As for the build quality, the mouse feels sturdy and well built, despite its fragile-looking appearance. The only issue I have with it is that when I turn it off from the switch and plug it in, the mouse becomes active and functional, even though the switch is set to off. Model D-’s Honeycomb Shell is the key to achieving a feather-light weight while maintaining its ultra-durable strength. One of the lightest mouse i have ever used… Just by first impressions this mouse has a premium feel to it.
