In some instances I was that undeserving idiot which is okay, because that was then and this is now. It gives you a brutal reality, enabling you to reflect back briefly and think about what you would have done differently, then move on. He is the founder of several successful companies such as Otter Public Relations, Instelite, and REX Fitness. However in most instances I recognise the point I should have walked away and known my worth was much greater; I undervalued myself.Makes you seriously question your life decisions and asks you to look at things from a different perspective. After seeing Adam’s insta page I knew this would be a book I’d read again and again and it didn’t disappoint lots of curse words and lots of spiritual things inside which I’d used myself and put myself into it as the person in the book. It's a good snappy reminder of how you can be effective at life - to be honest, it's a short listen so I'll probably listen to it a few times when I need reminding of a load of these concepts without having to dedicate time to a whole/more complex book. It's very in line with my own internal dialogue: harsh, rough around the edges, but honest, inspiring, and supportive of growth and self-care.

Few people ever place a hashtag on a piece of digital content they produce with the intention of starting a global movement.There's no diving into our DNA to try and justify unkind and hurtful people: like it reads essentially, we're not born with ego however over-sized, nor are we born with the insecurities or self doubt, it's learnt and shaped by our experiences and the people around us, and thats what the book is saying, control that stuff yourself don't relinquish control to someone else because good people won't put you in a position where you do or feel you have to. I felt miserable, so I invested in a personal development mentor who introduced me to a whole new way of thinking. You’re either in our tribe, or you’re not, but everyone in our community loves this, too, because they’re all like-minded people and vibe well together. Does he solve all your problems "heck no" but he just may change the way you view yourself, the people you keep around you and challenge your view on life itself. It resonates and because of that it sticks and you are practicing it without having to think about it.
