They look lovely in daylight and you can’t feel any scratches but turn on the under counter lights and the horror shows up !

The KC 7217 5 in Stone Guard made from weather resistant ABS plastic comes in Black with a White KC Logo provides added protection to KC Hilites 5 in Apollo Series Lights with easy twist-on installation. The solid has a slimmer profile and looks more like granite whereas the MDF looks more like normal worktop, it's just much more robust. I think the issue is ours is plain black polished quartz so shows every speck- if you went for a more speckled or lighter colour pattern i don't think it would be as big as a problem. They mention that it gives a great shine to kitchen surfaces, including quartz, glass, and stainless steel.
