Its an old fashion perfume, and I am older so its great for me, and as it isn't expensive I can use it all day when I want too, Not that it's only for old ladies, because most of the compliments I get is from younger girls, and my grand-Daughter uses it she is a teen. The tea roses are nearing the end of the season, after last week's rain they are near fermenting in this fervour.

It is not powdery or cheap smelling at all, it's a very peach/vanilla/sandalwood/incense oriental in the vein of Shalimar and Chanel Coco that is absolutely intoxicating, and it lasts for an eternity. and is quite nice, but it's not really my style so I passed it onto a lady who helps to care for my mum.This was a favourite of my grandmother and my great aunts-they used to tell me stories of the three of them sharing a bottle during the war years and jealously guarding it and making sure that none of them used more drops than the others did-they seem to have eked it out for years.

The longevity is moderate to weak, but who worries about reapplying when you can get a bottle for €8? I don't seem to have experienced any of the top notes; all the florals hit full force when I applied the cologne. They mention that it has a beautiful smell, it lingers for a very long time and that its a good daytime perfume. Lots of things mixed in it together, - you smell memory, stories, journeys, ups, downs, it is not something you can pass by.Make sure you can get vintage or failing that the 'creamy skin perfume' and layer both with body spray for lethal effect.
