Hello Australia has once again been endorsed as an education agent by NEAS - Quality Assurance in Education and Training. What better day to start a new blog on Australia than Australia Day itself, when the locals are out in their thousands firing up the barbie and celebrating what it means to live in what many claim to be the greatest country on earth. And believe it or not, Vale is simply the Latin for goodbye (I’m guessing the ‘adieu’ form of goodbye rather than ‘au revoir’, since it seems to be used here only when people die). Following a rigorous technical evaluation process, it has been recognized that Hello Australia upholds ethical, accurate, and consistent practices and information to stakeholders.

And my wife is not the only one who reckons its usage has grown (some even say started) in recent years. I’ve lived in many countries over the years and the first thing I’ve done in each place is adapt to the local language (whether that be a new version of my mother tongue English, a local version of a language I’m comfortable in like French, or a complete start from scratch in Spain 30 years ago). I’m so excited to share that I started a new role this week: I’m the new office manager at BB Civil. It has definitely only been the last few years it has become popular perhaps due to Peter Fitzimons who would likely have passed it onto Lisa Wilkinson therefore between them having a bit of reach in broadcasting circles where everyone copies everyone else.
