I don't consider myself an expert at any craft and am always finding new crafts and art mediums I want to try. The text appears to be line matched but with this thick of paper, it’s extremely hard to see anything more than a page or two deep to confirm that. Even in today’s day and age, if you were to commission a one off Bible to be made to your desired specifications, retained an artist to do the work, and then had the thing printed and bound, you would be spending a small fortune.

In chapter 11 of Paul’s letter to the Romans, he explains the addition of Gentiles into the kingdom of God, comparing them to a shoot of branches grafted into an olive tree, thus sharing in the nourishing roots with the other branches (a symbol for the people of Israel).

The darker colors on the presentation page do remind me of some of the illumined books I’ve seen over the years.
