It's quite easy to put together out of the box, and you can fold it fairly flat for storage if you need to, although to be honest I don't bother because we use it regularly. That said, it is well and truly now a firm part of his toy collection, and does still see frequent use throughout a day.

I wanted something that would entertain him and give him the full support of a seat but with the option to stand. At five months he is still not able to twist the seat 360 degrees himself but sure he will be able to soon. I would, as it has lots of different sounds, lights and colours, and is great for both younger and older children.

The best part for our son was the teething microphone and he was somewhat amused by the disc player, but they weren't enough to keep him busy on this - he got bored very quickly. It keeps my grandson amused and involved for much longer than I expected - he is safe, not crawling around, and gives me the opportunity to do other things for a short while. If you are meticulous at ensuring your child has no food while playing with the table it won't be a problem, but it is amazing how many rogue raisins can slip by a mother's watchful eye and be pushed into the little gaps!It can be adjusted from a standing table for toddlers to a sit-down play table for babies, simply by removing the legs.
