There’s one other very important factor in loft boarding, something you might not be aware of as a potential issue. Once condensation has built up, it can soak into the ceiling below your loft, as well as into your wooden joists, causing them to lose structural integrity. A year ago we used Loftzone items to board out a raised platform above the insulation in our new-build loft. It's a brilliant way to create a clean, usable space out of something that was filthy and dangerous.
