About this deal

Her second book was Mog the Forgetful Cat, which was published in 1970 and has also gone on to become a beloved classic, with Mog appearing in a further 17 adventures in the years since. Item despatched quickly and as described, but damaged in transit due to plastic wrap packaging being inadequate protection. See our Remarkables Archive list for what is no longer in print, but which we are happy to track down. This is most likely to be suitable for KS1 students, as it has plenty of illustrations, and it enables them to use their imagination to wonder where Mog is.

Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook). All of our books are 100% brand new, unread and purchased directly from the publishers in bulk allowing us to pass the huge savings on to you! She is also the author and illustrator of numerous picture books, including The Tiger Who Came to Tea, which was first published in 1968 and has since sold more than one million copies worldwide. My six year old granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed reading about the adventures of Mog the cat and his little friend Bunny.

It's a wonderful picture book with only a few lines on every page but you can tell that it's drawn with love. Question why are the two siblings able to leave the house in the middle of the night and also why are they sleeping in the same bed?

Aswell as beginner readers this book is also great for EAL children as the story is simple to understand. There is a lot of dialogue used throughout the tale which introduces KS1 to speech marks and how to use them effectively.

We have had a couple of incidents that were really distressing but just like Mog in this story it thankfully ended happily. The cover may have some limited signs of wear but the pages are clean, intact and the spine remains undamaged. At Books2Door, we believe that reading is a fundamental skill that every child should have to help improve their vocabulary, grammar, and critical thinking skills.
