The peat is amazingly discreet, but quite dirty, sooty, menthol and after some time with a sweet tip. The Committee Release of Ardbeg Kelpie is a special single malt which was released in 2017, having been matured in casks made from virgin Black Sea oak and more traditional bourbon casks.
