About this deal

The carriage lurched into motion, and Steris leaned out the window, waving farewell to the poor innkeeper.

Allik's crew uses a newly recovered airship to transport Wax's team and their prisoners back to Elendel. Wax must choose whether to set aside his rocky relationship with God and once again become the Sword that Harmony has groomed him to be.It expands a ton-load on the original Mistborn trilogy and this will sound like a broken record since every reviewer that is familiar with his work would have mentioned it, but HOW DOES HE DO IT? If you’re still not (thinking of) reading this (or maybe have only read the first three books), please check out my reviews of the previous books and join me as a *Bran. But somehow as Wax has come to care about her more so have I and it is official I have changed ships and actually love Wax and Steris for each other now.

A strange, red-eyed servant of Trell visits Edwarn in prison, and detonates a bomb killing itself and Edwarn.and fight for a better life in a dark, mostly depressing, medieval-y, apocalyptic world plagued by constant ashfalls.

Marasi agrees to hunt the spike, and Wax agrees to tag along when a picture reveals that his sister may be in New Seran, where ReLuur was ambushed. This is my favorite novel of the second Mistborn series so far, and I am eagerly anticipating the next. The Set expedition arrives, and Edwarn, under a banner of truce, opens the final door so that they may all enter. By the end of this book she was confident in herself and her abilities and is just all around awesome.Admittedly, the first half or so went at quite a leisurely, but enjoyable, entertaining pace, but then it was 120 m/h on the autobahn. The different metals are interwoven into the Bands of Mourning in wavy patterns, not unlike the folds of a pattern welded blade.

All the other characters had their moments to shine, especially Marasi who has been dealing with her identity in the shadow (rightly or wrongly) of Wax. Second there is the actual book Bands of Mourning which if you are an allomancy/Feruchemy/Hemilurgy nerd like I can be there are new ways of combining metals/powers for cool effects.

The cosmere connections are getting bigger, and it is starting to feel like you really need to know more about all the books to make sense of everything. Wax glanced over his shoulder, noting a tall man in a dark brown suit and bow tie pushing between a pair of constables.
