Wrath II decides to allow Havers to live, despite his treasonous ways, and Wrath II steps down from active duty as a Brother in the field and steps into the role of King of his people full-time. If you're looking for paranormal or urban fantasy of any kind of substance, stay away from this series. Wrath is about the best name of the bunch, but the others are one reason it took me so long to investigate this series.

Wrath is then faced with not only falling in love with her (even though he believes himself too broken to be capable of love), but also helping her through her transition and welcoming her into the new and dangerous world of vampires.
