About this deal

To find this restaurant, first, you need to find a red lamp leading to a basement (if there is not a queue giving it away). Our only issue, and it is not a complaint but a suggestion to enhance the guide, would be to name the specific stop on the tram line for each tram and destination. They started serving pastries and then established a cafe, U Warszawianek, which quickly became a meeting place for artists and authors. While I enjoyed that it kind of just left me wanting to see some actual photography (and not on a computer - there are several historical collections you can browse on screens in the main exhibit).

They also have a huge indoor area, and the evening is a great place for DJ sets, so no reason to ever leave, really. From Cloth Hall you’ll spot the Town Hall Tower — all that’s left of the original 14th-century Town Hall. This newly opened straight-friendly gay bar is on two levels in a historic tenement building near the main square. It boasts beautiful medieval architecture, picturesque castles, and a handful of insightful (and sobering) museums and attractions. Two newer mounds commemorate Polish generals, with the most visited being Kopiec Kościuszki, finished in 1823, which offers spectacular views of Wawel Castle, St Mary’s Basilica, the Main Square and Błonia Park.

Nowadays, the tower houses a branch of the Historical Museum of Krakow and visitors can ascend to the top viewing deck of the tower to marvel at panoramic views of Kraków below. Ridesharing – Uber is available in Krakow and it’s the cheapest option if you need to get somewhere and don’t want to take public transit. However, the south tower, being built by the older brother was clearly taller than the younger brother’s tower. At over 900 years old, the Wawel Cathedral is where Polish monarchs were crowned and buried since the 14th century. Locals kept recommending this place, so I finally went, and now I have joined the crowd and kept recommending this place to everyone. It’s a special place because you feel as though you’ve trekked through forests to get to the lagoon – then you climb a hill, and realise you’re on top of the city centre.

Updated photos of The Bagry Lake from June 2023 Relax Lakeside in Krakow The Bagry (Zalew Bagry) is somewhere I had always wanted to go. It is the second largest city in Poland, as well as one of the oldest cities in the country and dates as far back as the 7th century. Hotel Stary*, just off the market square, is at the top end of the luxury scale; a stylishly designed 19th-century palace with a rooftop restaurant and cosy vaulted ceilings. In Poland, instead of celebrating Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras like everyone else in the world, they celebrate Fat Thursday. On the way to Wawel Castle on Krakow’s oldest street, Hotel Copernicus* has been around since the 16th century and is still the favoured place of princes and presidents.Walking around, you will find plenty of trout farms around, where you can get fresh smoked or grilled trout directly from the farm to the table. If you had walked down Karmelicka Street in Krakow just a couple of years ago, you would have noticed an ugly car park just past the intersection with Rajska Street.
