About this deal

All of this happens in such a unified way, though, that the scent fades out quite smoothly rather than really changing. In the base sandalwood and amber create a warming depth that play harmony to the sensual creaminess of vanilla and musk in the sophisticated trail. A large supplier I have several purchases with the never fails, if the fragrance is too weak, in my skin lasts at most an hour, good output but from there it falls completely. i have to agree with fredericomurca, everytime i wear this one i feel obligate to come here and review it again (third time if i am not wrong). But the bottle shown here is actually the Interparfums one which came out maybe ten years later, which is fine because thats still available for retail.

not only that it's a pur hot weather frag but the freshness and the supenb cleanliness that it makes you feel is more than perfect the super poluted dusty air in Cairo. L'Homme current formulation (Interparfums) behaves too shy for my liking projection-wise but lasts acceptable 4-6 hours on my skin. Out of everything Alberto created between 1990 and 2000 this seems to be aging with the biggest class. If you add the additional contents of Linalool and Linalyl acetate (which are major volatile constituents of bergamot, sage and many more) which are often added separately to boost aromatic citrus and floralcy, this fragrance in technical terms can be considered approx. Now the juice very fresh and starts out with citrus, goes through a lavender/minty/pepper stage and the dry down is soft and a little sweeter, not overly sweet either. Projection/Sillage': DECENT, good 'scent bubble' radiates within 5 feet for about 2 hours then becomes an in-close scent; light fragrance with bright notes that give LL decent projection for a light frag.

The base of musk, sandalwood and vanilla is waiting in vain during the shelf life of this fragrance.I would describe this summery, crystalline scent almost as unisex - with a tendency towards masculine. What I mean is that this starts off as an aquatic, very fresh with a tangy feel to it but slowly becomes slightly spicy/powdery and dries down into a fresh, clean, woody, warm, and pleasant scent. In fact, I can think of only one comparable fragrance, namely Creed's Silver Mountain Water, which also exudes a rather captivating aura of freshness, although the Lanvin fragrance comes across as one step more purified and less maritime. Then around four and half hours later the perfume slowly starts to disappear and it's pretty much gone by seven hours leaving you with just a sense of being clean. It's a great gym, work, starter fragrance, or just something to knock around town in during the day.

Easy to wear, completely inoffensive, and conveying at all times a subject that is alert, approachable and tasteful, this fragrance is easy to overlook due to the abundance of similar fragrances within the genre, and nothing too 'exciting' in the note pyramid. Though not necessarily masculine and could work for anyone, I imagine a man in his early 20s as the type it would fit best. Lanvin L'Homme works for all seasons and is an obvious great selection for the office or a formal or semi-formal occasions. It's lasted over 20 years in a cut throat business and seen many other hyped and heralded perfumes come and go or be reformulated into a shade of their former selves. I have neither an analytical nose and professional background knowledge, nor the urge to remain as objective as possible in evaluations, as far as this seems at all possible with fragrances.

The notes are virtually identical to the sport version with the exception of moss, and a supposedly warmer spice which I don't detect. Protect your fragrance from direct sunlight and heat, otherwise it could alter the composition of the fragrance and escape. But it is no power bomb but rather a light refreshing and always charmingly seductive arrangement of notes.
