About this deal

Released in August 2016, the LEGO® Technic™ Bucket Wheel Excavator (42055) was the largest LEGO® Technic set to date at the time with over 3,900 pieces.

My first modifications would be improve the force of the bucket, because as far i could see, the bucket is driven by the chains of the conveyor belt, so even an small object is able to stop it (like Sariel showed in his review), i would put an axle going from the gearbox directly to the bucket, or even a motor behind it, so there would not be too much power loss. These costs are subject to each country's legislation and are beyond our control; therefore, we cannot be held responsible for them. Includes an easy-to-follow booklet with building instructions and suggestions for an even more creative building experience. LEGO Reddish Brown Bucket 1 x 1 x 1 Small has been used in at least 63 LEGO sets over the past 13 years, since it was first used in 2011. Our commitment extends to using fair-trade cotton from agricultural cooperatives in Uganda and Kyrgyzstan, processed in Europe under strict regulations.

With more than 600 colourful elements, the LEGO starter set offers small builders a creative world with endless fun. While this LEGO® Technic BWE wasn’t able to remove massive tons of rock, builders could use the LEGO® Power Functions for an array of motorized functions, including forward and reverse driving, rotating the bucket wheel, moving conveyor belts, and activating the bucket wheel boom.

We create unique and exquisite products that blend craftsmanship, artistic expression, and good design, promoting conscious and long-lasting consumption. I think it would make sense to put the motor driving the wheel within the wheel, I don't have one yet put from the pictures I have seen it definitely looks possible, and then to drive the belt from the wheel. While this LEGO® Technic BWE wasn’t able to remove massive tons of rock, builders could use the LEGO® Power Functions for an array of motorised functions, including forward and reverse driving, rotating the bucket wheel, moving conveyor belts and activating the bucket wheel boom. The breathable and stretchable material makes it the perfect fit for all your endeavours – you can wear a cap for your next outdoor tennis match or to baseball practice in winter. I think that the conveyor belt and the bucket system should be driven individually, or at least the belt should be driven by the bucket, and not the opposite; but all the mods that suffocation mentioned would be nice to see in the model. Hi Carver, welcome to Eurobricks, thank you for making those pictures and videos, is good to know that there is space for the L-motor, also, those other mods are really amazing, the chassis and the LA´s mods are great too, nice work.
