I do sometimes struggle with fantastical elements in novels such as time travel but it really helped that this reminded me of ‘Who’s That Girl? I started it Autumn last year and I’m still fiddling about with it but January was a big month for my keyboard and I and a book is born! Louise is the creator and host of the podcast Mothers’ Meeting, where she interviews fellow mums and discusses all things motherhood. With a positive swing to her step and a general ‘joie de vivre’ about her demeanor, Robin is set to take on the world.This is definitely something removed from what I would normally read but I enjoyed the humour and the heart that this novel has. I loved the Easter eggs dropped in throughout the book by Louise Pentland, there are all sorts of references in there for fans of the Robin Wilde series as well as viewers of Louise’s channel. Her relationship with her parents, best friend (and best friend’s daughter) were all lovely – as was her developing friendship with her new mate Bea. I got sucked straight into this utterly heart-warming and feel-good story and had to finish it in a single sitting. Admittedly not a book I would normally pick up, not being from the YouTube generation, so I was well intrigued to check it out.

It was a very easy read, in the best possible way, and so incredibly funny ( Lindsey Kelk levels of funny, which means REALLY funny!I can’t even tell you how fun it was to play with all of that, I really can’t wait for you to loose yourself in this book.
