La Chica Silver Tequila is great to sip and savour or ideal as a shooter, in a Margarita or other cocktails. Different artists featured on each bottle, the bars also keep their funky bottles for water or mixers. Just recently picked up – I like it the bottle art a lot and it has a nice up-front flavor but some smokiness/lasting taste was desired.
The technique used to make mezcal is steeped in traditon and has been passed down through the generations of mezcaleros. Twice a year we commission artists to create artworks based on a theme that represents the values of our brand. They also replant 10 agaves for every plant they harvest, as well as establishing a nursery to propagate heritage agave varietals and maintain biodiversity.The hearts of the plant are milled with a traditional Tahona (stone wheel) system and naturally fermented for up to 30 days. It is cooked using three different types of wood – ocote, red oak and pepper tree – to achieve a complex, balanced flavour profile that makes it work brilliantly in cocktails. Mezcal Verde dedicated craft distillery opened in the Oaxacan village of Tlacolula in 2017 and is capable of producing 7,000l of batch-distilled mezcal a year. Funkin Lime Pure Pour puree is made from the finest Limes and you can simply open and pour the mixer into your drinks to add the fresh and zesty flavour of the Lime. No Limes have been harmed in the making of this Funkin Puree, but they have been squeezed within an inch of their lives to create the tart, refreshing flavour of this cocktail puree.These flavours during the roasting are then part of the flavours that develop during fermentation and pass into the 2 distillations that make up this Mezcal.
