About this deal

Suitable for both Freeview and Analog TV Signals - Simply connect to an HDTV with built in DVB T tuner / receiver using coaxial cable. It was superb - and I hadn't even pulled the protective plastic off the aerial, or tuned the TV in, at that point.

After trying and failing to stick it up with the 2 small sticky pads it come with I celotaped it only for my husband to laugh at me and remove the red bit which is the actual sticky pad and it has stayed put exactly where I want it.

Perhaps there’s nowhere to attach an external antenna, or you might live in rented accommodation where you’re not permitted to fit one. I literally took the product out of the packaging, plugged it into the TV, draped the oblong aerial/receiver itself (round-back-to-front, and upside-down) over a picture on the wall above the TV, switched the TV on - and was absolutely flabbergasted at the quality of the picture on the screen. It came wrapped in a polythene bag, inside a box with info on the front, and technical data and a set-up guide on the back. If you want an amplifier, think about getting a standalone one, rather than one that’s built directly into the aerial.

Many users in weak signal areas report that the Monarch 50 has helped them get more channels or more HD channels than before, so if you’re not getting all the entertainment you deserve, this aerial’s worth a try. Tools-free Installation - No more traditional, huge outdoor aerial that are a hassle and very costly to mount on your roof.If your TV does not have a built-in tuner, you can connect your 1byone aerial to your set-top DVB-T tuner / receiver. Its built-in amplifier features a filter to block out interference from 4G signals, and the design is very forgiving when it comes to positioning and angle. Monopole aerials use a single, chunky pole-shaped antenna, usually attached to a round base (which may be magnetic, for easy attachment to a metal window frame or radiator).
