About this deal

It was clear the headset could not compete with the 3840 x 2160 pixels of a 4K UHD TV, meaning no one would want to watch movies using a VR headset. Hopefully a sign of things to come, Disney/20th Century delivers Avatar: The Way of Water to Blu-ray 3-D. Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but the only complaint I have ever heard about HFR is that it looks like a video (or a Spanish Telenovela), not a video game. Becoming Na'vi (HD; 10:51) looks at some of the training and/or mentoring done to establish "tribal" identities. Pero por lo que leo en las reseñas parece que a algunos se les ha metido entre ceja y ceja que es peor que la primera cuando en realidad es todo lo contrario. Maybe Avatar 2 coming to the home distribution in a 3D format is the trigger to rethink 3D and how VR headsets can be used to (re)discover it. The jungles of Pandora are a riot of primaries, with the night-time bioluminescence getting an added kick from the increased dynamic range. The slide appears to be from an internal Panasonic presentation and was leaked by Japanese AV Watch. The newly-remastered Avatar will be available on 4K Ultra HD Combo (4K + Blu-ray + Digital Code), Blu-ray Combo (Blu-ray + Digital Code), and DVD. Hear reflections from the cast and crew, including the remarkable New Zealand crew, on making the film. astounding, and there's virtually no frame in this enterprise which isn't stuffed with often incredible visual information. Avatar 2 is a good movie, but I will always criticize Cameron's misguided choice to use HFR in ANY part of the movie. But as the original Avatar, in 2009, helped to make 3D popular – at the time – it appears as if Avatar 2 is paving the way for a rediscovery of 3D at home.

Right after I saw this in HFR with my girlfriend and her sister, I asked them what they though over dinner.

I saw the film multiple times in theaters in 3-D and that’s the kind of experience I want to have at home.In the aftermath of the first Avatar going nuclear at the box office back in 2009, studios scrambled to add piss-poor 3D post-production bolt-ons to their films, most notably the remake of Clash Of The Titans. The Undersea World of Pandora – Co-production designer Dylan Cole and his team conceive of the marine creatures required for Avatar: The Way of Water while James Cameron and his stunt team devise extraordinary means to bring those creatures to life in a performance capture tank.
