The LCW-M100TSE-1AER features a self-charging solar battery system that allows it to operate continuously, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements. What I'm curious about is why so many owners complain about not being able to turn off the power save function - it's a good thing surely, and the watch wakes up instantly when required. The features of the Casio is damn hard to beat, but the 200M water resist is nice and i think the Citizen looks a bit classier.

Once the battery is on Hi it will stay there as long as you expose the watch to light -wearing it daily or exposing it to light. Is it just me or is the LCD nearly impossible to read on the black background one (not sure if that's neg or pos).

It is exactly what I was looking for as I am a bit stuck between both the M170 and the 100 model, but also between the steel v titanium versions, and MOST frustratingly, between the positive/negative LCD choices.

This watch's radio-controlled calibration system allows it to receive signals from atomic clocks around the world, ensuring that it always displays accurate time. Whether in Europe, North America and Japan or in the outer reaches of Canada, Central America and China - once the watch has been set to the local time, it receives the relevant signal and shows the correct time wherever you are. It looks like a blue variant at first glance, however, the blue bracelet showcases that the white balance of the image has been tampered with or that the image has been colour shifted at a later date.

The first thing that will strike you is the amazing grey dial, which has one of the cleanest sunbursts I’ve ever seen. Casio states that if the moisture appeared after an extreme change in temperature and disappears relatively quickly afterwards, there is probably nothing wrong.Regardless of which variant you prefer, you’ll be pleased to know it will have sapphire crystal over the dial, for unbeatable scratch resistance, with an anti-reflective coating to make it more legible when in direct sunlight.
