What I really like most is that they are not overly sweet, just a tinge of sweetness complimented by the tiny addition of salt. In case you’re wondering how my biscuits all look so even: while the biscuits were still hot from the oven, I used a pastry ring to cut each one into a perfect circle.

This is the perfect chocolate biscuit with the right amount of crunch, grit and a lovely layer of chocolate. Last time I made the HobNobs I didn’t have almond meal, thought I had plenty, and used almond flour.But if you’ve got some self-restraint, kept in a sealed tub or tin, these would last for 3-4 days before they started to soften.
