Although I have to say I personally don't like having the buckle to one side as much as central but that's a very personal thing! My daughter probably should sit a bit higher than on the left picture and the panel would reach nearer her armpits. As already mentioned: the seat can be adjusted via velcro to define the width and with the toggle the pouch gets smaller. I have only ever tried one once before and don't currently have one in the library currently as I see them as quite specialist. It is in fact a fantastic, supremely practical and comfortable option that just happens to look really lovely too. I thought about purchasing one when I was pregnant but it seemed like a waste as I would only use it for such a short time.I love that the loops have been included on both sides of the straps so it's possible to purposefully twist the straps if desired. The body panel (excluding the hood and waist band) measures roughly 41cm wide by 36cm tall and has light padding at the edges of the seat ensuring a comfortable ride for your little one. For me this is the one thing I'd like to see altered about this carrier - the width adjustment is really amazing and covers such a range, it would be absolutely brilliant if the height adjusted to the same extent and as smoothly. The DidyKlick seat can be easily cinched in by pulling a drawstring and toggle, making it suitable from newborn.
