Normally flicking through a new cookbook I expect to see at least a few recipes immediately catching my eye, but I can honestly say I quickly skimmed through every page of this book and there was nothing at all that held appeal. She was going to eat normal meals with her family and, most importantly, she was going to do so for the rest of her life.

Greedy Girl’s Diet: Second Helpings is full of delicious, diet-friendly dishes, with one chapter specialising in ten-minute meals, another for half-hour dinners – perfect for a weeknight – and a whole host of lunchbox suggestions. If we aren’t curious about the world and the myriad of things in it, we start to die slowly and nastily from within.
