Thinking she can outwit this condition, Brianna issues a the son who brings her a gift that makes her laugh will win her hand. These were tempestuous novels with slammed doors and groveling and intense feelings, but I know these books don’t at all hold up. Normally, I like when Coldbreth introduces lots of secondary characters with their backstories who may or may not act as an important stimulus in her future books but here most of them felt flat. I can think of at least five endings that would’ve been better than the one we got that would’ve been far more satisfying. For all ebook purchases, you will be prompted to create an account or login with your existing HarperCollins username and password. Blyth, Anin’s mother, has given her husband four fine sons and King Talon hopes Anin will do the same for him. When heiress Hastings Trent is joined with warrior Severin Langthorne in marriage, she must uncover the mystery surrounding a secluded estate known as Rosehaven. He's been in love with her forever though he can't even admit it to himself, and he shows his devotion with the old 'pigtails in the inkwell' type of tricks. Reluctant to wed her father's bitter enemy, Joanna slowly grows to love her charismatic and courageous husband who dreams of uniting Wales.

Konrad isn't my favorite character, I never really got the depth of his feelings for Aimee and the grovel/gut punch didn't feel as satisfying as other books.Kate Allen Cutter pushed herself up from her narrow cot and slowly crossed the small dimly lit room while smoothing wrinkles from her faded skirt. I wish that maybe we'd have started the story at a different point or that it could have been longer so we got to see Konrad's change 50% into the book instead of 98% into the book. I loved how it updated older, familiar archetypes, I loved how absorbing it was to read, and I can’t wait for more.

Right now on my computer monitor, with a much larger screeen, the video is sitting in the lower right corner, not in the way at all, but it has also popped open and closed on its own. Konrad has a moment near the VERY end of the book where he's like: "I need to start saying these things out loud.Although the road to them sorting out their marriage and feelings to get their HEA had some complications, it made for a good story with some angst but not too much.
