About this deal

Now, as a novice disciple at the cultivation sect known as Sisheng Peak, Mo Ran has a second chance at life. Additionally, this story has no sense of moderation; if you have ever encountered the 90s phenomenon of labeling everything X-TREME! I was literally squealing when he started making all the right choices instead of the wrong ones (yes, Mo Ran, you're my baby! Shizun was rather negative to their relationship- not really treating it as one (which could be explained with him having zero experience) and outright ignoring and running away from MoRan.

But if you're like me and just can't handle someone falling in love with their rapist, I say you pass on this one. I will never understand that, I find it extremely gross and off-putting even if it is purely fictional.Luckily for me, I apparently thrive on evil and morally grey characters and stories, so it hasn’t even slowed me down a little, but I can imagine it would make some people baulk. Much of the word count is given to describing suffering and pain in excruciating detail (of both leads, and of most of the female supporting characters, but of very few male supporting characters), while major events affecting the society and setting of the story are often glossed over in a few paragraphs. First of all, the best part of 2ha--besides the passionate, heartrending romance--is undoubtedly the character development. And in the case of his romantic feelings, he refuses to aknowledge them and instead turns them into pure hatred because he can‘t fathom not being in love with Shi Mei.

My expectations for the rest of the volumes is pretty low as I can't really see my opinion on the main couple changing much but I will read the entire thing anyway just for Shi Mei. The book explores themes of redemption and morality very well, exploring Mo Ran’s struggle with his darker desires, the guilt of his past life, and his attempts to remedy things during his miraculous second chance. I mainly got around to starting this cause I didn’t want to be spoiled by beautiful art on TikTok and it has been simultaneously a wonderful and horrible idea. There is nothing so painful as seeing someone kind suffering, and poor Chu Wanning collected all the characteristics needed to feel miserable. I absolutely loved the noncon scenes in this, especially since they were dripping with confusion and conflicted emotions rife with humiliation warring with affection.Nothing is funnier than the ex-emperor of the cultivation world being trapped in a teenager's body, lacking power and strenght.

He pushes those thoughts away, finding them horrible and himself disgusting, he does not persue Mo Ran or the feelings he has towards him. he’d still missed him with an almost physical intensity, like a thousand ants were gnawing on his heart. For many people, Erha might not be a "typical" dog-blood novel, but I beg to differ because I've read so many danmei novels with plots similar to this. Disclaimer: I've never harassed anybody for liking erha, and I have many friends that are huge fans of it - which is why I tried reading it in the first place.

The only way we could determine and conclude about what to feel towards this character is to read about his sufferings and Meatbun showed us all of that only for us to be in such despair and have us feel nothing but. Thus, after much consideration, the once cruel ruler of the cultivation world, the Despot of Sichuan, Emperor of the Mortal Realm, and Lord of Sisheng Peak, Taxian-jun, Mo Ran himself, expressed his honest thoughts: "Fuck. This wiki is a community created by fans to share the knowledge and help others learn about the novel. I hate student-teachers romances and any ten-year gap with the younger character under twenty, but this is where danmei comes and makes its magic.
