About this deal

I've never used the Logitceh F310, but looking at it screams "Mad Catz controller from the early 2000s" to me. If you are unable to provide the insured product at point of claim for inspection it will be classed as lost and not covered. With the controller switch in XID mode, our console-like layout will give you the edge as you compete. Profiler software allows the gamepad to be programmed to perform keyboard and mouse commands for games without gamepad support.

F710 is easy to set up and use with your favorite games thanks to XInput/DirectInput—the two most common input standards. While I prefer a straight up DS3 clone or a DS3 over the layout of the XBox 360 controller, I do love the compromise this one brings. Multiple mode settings bring a familiar console-style controller experience to your PC with support for the broadest number of games. A 4-switch D-pad floats on the left for browsing through in-game inventories or making combo moves on opponents. I am not sure if it's just the particular unit that I received but it feels like there is noticeable latency compared to the old precision game pad.The thumbsticks are excellently designed, giving you excellent precise control, very helpful when flying around the track on DriveClub or trying to escape the cops on Grand Theft Auto 5. Ocuk Limited trading as Overclockers UK is a credit broker, not a lender, and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. And since I was using a software emulator to use the DS3 as a XBox 360 controller anyhow for compatibility, there was less setup than normal to get this working for all my games. Triggers are shorter than regular and also resist a bit more than usual, which will give your fingers a little more of a workout than anticipated.

Read more Not much to be said about the F310, it's an endlessly serviceable, reasonably durable, quite comfortable controller. It depends on your personal tastes, but through not being a premium model, less work has gone into making the Logitech F310 as comfortable and powerful as possible, and it may feel a bit weird in the hand at first.Unless I was absolutely destitute though I would look at one of the third-party wired Xbox controllers over the F310, or something by 8BitDo if I could spend a little more than that but still didn't want to shell out as much as a first-party Microsoft controller costs. The one big difference is that there is no vibrate, so this isn't in the same universe as the DualShock series.
