About this deal

I had not read a review of the book, had no idea what I was to read so was left wondering from the start if the recording was faulty.

I run toward her, and as I get closer, I can see that she has drawn a picture of me next to my name. As Hannah gets up to leave with them, Ethan offers a ride to Gabby's later that night if she would like to stay longer. After a string of bad luck, she decides to move back to her hometown of LA where she stays with at her best friend Gabby’s house while she gets on her feet and sorts out her life. I cannot believe I started this book twice last year and didn't finish it up either time but, damn well, I am so glad to have read this book today! Shortly after getting back to town, Hannah goes out to a bar one night with Gabby and meets up with her high school boyfriend, Ethan. Years passed, Hannah moved to college, changed jobs, and, all in all, didn’t really do much in life.

Written in a breezy, humorous style familiar to fans of Jane Green and Elin Hilderbrand, After I Do focuses on Lauren’s journey of self-discovery. I wonder if she can tell that I’m twenty-nine and considers that young, or if she thinks I’m younger than I am. Evidence of this fact is how much time this book spends in a location I dislike, the fact that I didn’t like either of the potential love interests, and that health sciences careers are featured prominently…which is something I prefer not to visit in my leisure reading. free will debate is hardly a new area for exploration, and yet Reid's take on it is refreshing and uplifting. During a night out with her best friend Gabby, Hannah catches up with Ethan, her former college boyfriend.

As such, Hannah Martin's story and growth is one that I think is something to which most of us 20 and 30-somethings can closely relate.

and going over the thousands of paths my life could take based on one decision, this book really hit home. This subgenre that is wholly dominated by TJR is so addictive that it tricked me into thinking I was out of my reading slump. Those were the same times I wished she didn't have a family to back her up in both universes, because despite the problems, she always seemed to have it too easy. What I’m getting at here is that I know there may be universes out there where I made different choices that led me somewhere else, led me to someone else. I was lying in my dorm room on my twin XL bed, the phone sweaty and hot on my ear from our already-hours-long conversation. With my really good friends whose sexual orientations line up with mine, what kept us from becoming romantic partners was far more nuanced than that. For more details, please consult the latest information provided by Royal Mail's International Incident Bulletin. Liking a specific type of food is not a personality trait and it definitely doesn’t need to be mentioned as many times as it does in this book. Despite Hannah having a romantic interest in both outcomes, her friendship with Gabby was so beautiful and wonderfully showcased. Bottom line: Current historical TJR's books are better, but man oh man they do not have that concerningly addictive drug pizzazz.

I am convinced that this book was more about Gabby and Hannah’s friendship than the romances combined and don’t try to convince me other wise. Your room is upstairs,” she says, and the three of us walk up the tight staircase to the second floor. Sometimes that road takes unexpected twists and turns, but the beauty of it is that sometimes you end up in a better place than you could have dreamed. We get two alternate universes that depend on whether Hannah stays with Ethan at the bar or whether she leaves with Gabby and her husband. The book almost feels like a choose your own adventure as two different timelines, two different possibilities unfold. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. From the acclaimed author of Forever, Interrupted and After I Do comes a breathtaking novel about a young woman whose fate hinges on the choice she makes after bumping into an old flame; in alternating chapters, we see two possible scenarios unfold—with stunningly different results. What I got from this book is that no matter which decision you take, some things are going to remain constant in your life.
