The perfect introduction to the enchanted world of the Magic Faraway Tree for the youngest children. The tree also grows different types of fruit on its branches so there is plenty of sustenance for the tired climber who needs to keep on going up and up and up to reach the current land at the top. Further up they meet the little elf known as Silky and Dick thinks she is the loveliest creature he has ever seen. The tree is so tall that its topmost branches reach into the clouds and it is wide enough to contain small houses carved into its trunk.It can be a bit tricky but it really doesn’t matter if they’re neat, the idea is to just get as much sherbet inside as possible. Now the scene is set for the children to do what the Faraway Tree books are all about — visiting one land after another and experiencing adventures. Dame Slap, who runs a school for bad pixies which, in some of the adventures, the friends accidentally land in.

Making the glaze is super simple - combine all ingredients in a stand mixer and whisk till combined, alternatively you can whisk by hand, just be sure to get all lumps out. Spoon the glaze over the tops of the buns and either allow to sit and harden or eat them fresh and sticky.The children got a real surprise when they bit their currants, and Moon-Face almost fell off the branch with laughing.
