Water kefir is a fermented drink made by combining filtered water, fruits and a small amount of sugar with water kefir grains. Wheat and barley are often key ingredients in producing drinks such as beer and in sealing wine casks. A dedication to the communities that mothers have built around the world throughout history, the name comes from the ‘mother’ culture used in the fermentation process. Over the past decade, I’ve immersed myself in the world of alcohol, having the privilege to work with renowned names like Gallo Wine, Rémy Cointreau, and most recently as the Head of Sales at the world’s most innovative beverage producer, Cambridge Distillery. As a result of our unique fermentation process, every 100ml of Agua contains a staggering 55 billion live cultures.

Lightly sparkling and flavoured with organic lemon and ginger, this refreshing and unique drink contains billions of live cultures for good gut health. Agua De Madre is made from the elemental Tibicos Mother Culture discovered on the pads of the Mexican Opuntia cactus.
