i wouldn't describe it as fruity, as it is a softer, powderier sort of sweetness, but the black currant is definitely there. What is supposedly red currant and plum, to me, was more like grapefruit cotton candy, and it’s prominent. Personally, I'm pretty sensitive to peony so when I first sprayed it I got this fruity peony smell which I hated. I’ll definitely be making a point of trying more scents, particularly ones I might generally not go for.

Initially smells like ripe soft plums and sweet blackcurrant, and after it's been sitting on the skin for a bit I get a soft fruity marshmallow scent. I found myself having to overspray and top off in the middle of the day just to smell the fragrance.

None have been overly juvenile, and I (early 30s F) can find a place for these fragrances in my repertoire. The fresh and crisp notes of peony mingle perfectly with the playfulness of marshmallow for a whimsical middle layer.Whatever the reasons, I feel fondly Big Sister-y about this perfume, which is Grande’s third—and she’s only 24! It isn't bad, but out of all of her scents, this one is definitely unique, maybe the more mature out of her whole line. The stuff smells more like a desperate middle-of-the-night countermeasure to imminent digestive issues. Like any other Ariana Grande scent, it's perfect for a young girl who's getting their first perfume, or anyone who just likes to smell sweet and girly.

There was absolutely no difference in the way the Walmart tester smelled versus the Ulta bottle I purchased. I could for sure recommend the body spray, even if the perfume itself has been getting iffy reviews based on longevity and sillage. I love the powdery nature it has, the soft plum, the exquisite peony that smells like a pale pink rose in the dry down. I only wish the perfume would last longer though :c It doesn't last more than 30m-1hr so it's not perfect to wear for a super long event, as it'll wear off quickly. Here is my con; it's not that long-lasting on some days, but that probably has to do with the weather or my own personal skin chemistry.

Longevity is the problem with this one, it’s pretty weak which is so sad because it smells so beautiful and the sillage is only good for an hour or 2 if you overspray. Not to mention - longevity of this scent with my chemistry is a fat 0, which seems top be a theme with a lot of the AG perfumes I've tried - they just don't like me even thought I want to like them. especially given that it's best for non-summer seasons, i'd want something that's a little more distinct.
