About this deal

There they used the matte finish with spot-gloss, that I like more than the coarse leather ones, they use for their UHD-releases. Bloodsport comes to UK 4K Blu-ray from Capelight/Altitude Films in what looks like an exact port of the German Capelight release from earlier this year (right down to it defaulting to German on the opening menu option). There's some backstory that nobody cares about, ridiculous romance with a reporter, and friendship with fellow fighters - whilst Army CID Agents are trying to bring him back in - but it's mostly just padding to get you to the next round. Probably the most expensive ‘standard’ edition I’ve bought, but definitely my favourite Jean-Claude Van Damme film. and uses a Wide Colour Gamut (WCG), High Dynamic Range and Dolby Vision (and HDR10+), and is encoded using the HEVC (H.Along with a fabulous roster of extra features, there's only really one question - which version will you pick up? Mediabooks for this are classy, I dislike the taller DVD size dimensions though, Plaion's Phantasm UHD has the Blu ray height dimensions I like better. Van Damme's had a hell of a career - cheap but endearing apocalyptic sci-fi action in Cyborg, double Van Damme craziness in Double Impact, TimeCop, Maximum Risk and more, almost hitting the big time alongside Dolph Lundgren in Universal Soldier, with his John Woo actioner Hard Target one of the finest in his filmography.

self-promotional, but covers such a broad range of subjects that it's got a little something for everyone. Bloodsport (1988), starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Donald Gibb, Leah Ayres, Norman Burton, and Forest Whitaker.Yeah - the Amaray looks quite good and has the Cover B variant from the Mediabook as reversible sleeve. Hertzog's era-specific original score enjoys a much more substantial presence in the rear while not sounding overcooked.
