Its subtly iridescent formula is enriched with flecks of gold for a radiant but non shiny healthy bronzed glow. Although I am looking for a more grayisch/taupe one because that might suit my very pale skintone better when conturing. You may take this bronzer's colour as high as faking a tan, but it still would not give you a horrid orange or muddy look.
I missed the hype big time on this though, because at the same time of its release, I had purchased Benefit's Hoola Bronzer and that was me sorted on the bronzer front! The powder comes in two shades, Peaux Claires/Medians no 51 and Peaux mates/hâlées no 52, which is the one I have here. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Well that's what happened to me when Elly from Ellysmakeupbag commented to me that the chocolate bronzer doesn't seem to be available anymore in the the country she's in, hinting that it may be discontinued. After months of speculation - and of course the near-empty counters that have not escaped notice - it has been confirmed that Bourjois are pulling out of the UK.
Up until recently I had never tried the famous Bourjois chocolate bar bronzer and a few people I talked to couldn't believe it, being the makeup artist and beauty blogger that I am! Its subtly iridescent formula is enriched with flecks of gold for a radiant but non-shiny healthy bronzed glow.
This is talked about so much in Tanya Burr's Youtube videos, and I've always liked the chocolate layout, as you said.I have heard so much about it on youtube, it looks like a great alternative for Hoola to warm up the skin. With a mission of continuously inventing, creating and designing clever, feminine products that simplify beauty. With a light hand, it camouflage with my skin probably because I am naturally warm but when I pile it up, it lean too much on an orange tone.
