I LOVE Pure Honey by Kim Kardashian and there's a few other honey scents that I love that I just can't think of at the moment. it smells very synthetic at first - especially compared to some of the more complex scents on the market - but it does settle over time. It contains notes of beeswax, nectarine, mirabelle, solar notes, grapefruit, neroli, vanilla, yellow freesia, mandarin orange, jasmine, cedar, musk and lily of the valley. It begins with the sweet embrace of beeswax and the succulent allure of nectarine and mirabelle, enhanced by the warmth of solar notes. I'm beginning to think it's DKNY in general that doesn't work for me because Be Delicious and Be Delicious Blossom didn't work for me either.

That being said, Nectar Love is still a decent everyday fragrance, though too citrus-y for my liking. This perfume is a perfect fit at the end of august when the smell of summer is still in the air and the first leaves start to fall. The florals are clean and bright, the citruses zesty, and the beeswax brings it all together like "your skin but better. The drydown on my clothing is a bit different and becomes a lot more of a white floral soapy/fabric conditioner.

The citrus notes are inoffensive and delicate (thankfully, as I generally hate citrus scents) and the florals are well balanced as well. And for a nice honey I would usually go for JPG Scandal, but Scandal is on the heavier side and more suitable for evenings or cold weather.

Definitely a summer scent, sweet and happy, and, despite being light and not very long-lasting, it is very beautiful for what it is. The start has a very mild honey scent that doesn't last too long but it gives the fragrance a nice sweet warm sent all the way through. This to me definitely feels like a sweet floral and I do enjoy a good floral fragrance that isn't too overly sweet but this is just a nice combination.

That is primarily the only thing you'll smell from this fragrance, so don't expect it to be a complex fragrance that evolves over time. But as the scent progresses, the vanilla seeps through very gently, adding a cosy quality to Nectar Love that makes it wearable all year round imo.
