We usually do an image each for reviews but my Daughter really wanted to work together on a design for this review. Enchanted Forest was the first book of Johanna’s that I bought and it’s very special to me, no matter how many times I flick through it, it never loses it’s charm.This journal is gorgeous and certainly the best I’ve seen and its gold-edged pages are a lovely addition. Colouring in aids relaxation and improves stress levels, try this new colouring trend that's quickly sweeping across the world. Sometimes I like to flick through and imagine the childhood she’s often spoken of, playing in castle gardens where her Grandfather worked. Like Secret Garden, there is a list of things to be found throughout the book as well as lots of intricate illustrations to test your colouring skills! Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

Consider trading in your yoga mat for a set of markers and peruse the gorgeous gardens of Basford's imagination. In the regular book, the compass and knocker were not the most inspiring to me, but blown up they look beautiful. With intricate drawings waiting to be coloured, embellished, and completed, the book also presents a delightful challenge of finding hidden objects throughout the pages. From delicate wildflowers to curious animals and birds, from sparkling gems to lanterns and keys, the illustrations come to life as you bring them to vibrant colour. I tried out my water-based fineliners and they didn’t bleed at all and only had the slightest hint of shadowing with very dark colours but I only noticed because I was closely inspecting it.The illustrations are small and can be completed in a short amount of time meaning you don’t need a good attention span or level of concentration to be able to enjoy each illustration.
