I HATE shaving, as my skin is very sensitive and I always get razor bumps and ingrown hairs, not to mention nicking my skin at least once every time. According to TikTok, that's where hair removal stones come in, claiming to remove leg hair and leave your legs feeling silky smooth without all the hassle of shaving foam, strawberry legs and ingrown hairs in between. I’ve gotten the majority of those comments on TikTok, a few on my other social channels but not as much. It’s wild what lengths these people will go to deceive, and I haven’t even included everything I dug up!

After gently using it, I suffered from rashes and bleeding skin and I don’t even have sensitive skin. Even though Bleame has apparently changed their safety recommendations, they STILL have these old recommendations from around a year ago listed on their Instagram FAQs highlight listing areas like the face, bikini, and chest areas as places that are either safe or places that clients were able to make things work. So we have a three-for-one here: 1) claims that this product actually reverses skin problems like strawberry legs and ingrown hairs, 2) the Bleame somehow firms skin (not sure how this is possible), 3) and that they have “clinical/consumer” studies on this product. So the places they said previously said were not safe to use, they switched gears again and are saying it’s fine if you are careful.This product works inconsistently and doesn’t work in certain areas (like bikini zone) or around wrists, knees, etc. I have the ID of the other owner from looking through trademark and business registration documents, but not sure if I can post that here yet (I have to visit with my blog lawyer first to double check). My legs have never felt so smooth, and even better none of that awful bobbly strawberry looking pimple affect I usually get once I have shaved. I was able to see the video again by logging out of my account, and my comment is gone, which I expected! It did remove hair pretty well in some leg areas, and I tried to be gentle after reading all the information Bleame had provided online.

After a couple of hours (or a good night's sleep), peel it off to reveal all of the accumulated gunk — it's strangely satisfying. If you are looking for a completely plastic free alternative, those were the only three pieces of plastic involved, with only one piece (the plastic box) being single-use.
