About this deal

From a distance, the underwater images from the WG-80 exhibited colors that weren’t as neutral as when we were closer to the subject, and they looked bluer than the photos we got from the TG-7. Six small LED lights are built into a ring around the lens to help illuminate very close-up (aka macro) shots. With a press of a button, the robotic arm grasps a dish tightly, bringing into a spinning motion as the scrubber moves through the dish. Macro and close-up modes: Because light doesn’t travel well through water, a lot of underwater photography happens very close to the subject. With the best ratings we’ve seen for diving depth and drop resistance, plus image quality slightly better than that of the competition, the OM System Tough TG-7 is an excellent choice marred only by flaws common to all tough cameras.

The brightest portions of the images we took with this Ricoh camera also appeared more blown-out (overexposed) than corresponding areas in the photos from our OM System top pick. Thanks to its rotating sponge grips, it can securely hold and clean a variety of dish sizes and shapes.

Don’t get too excited if you want to use that feature while submerged—Wi-Fi doesn’t travel well through water. As the latter's tech editor and then senior tech editor, he was responsible for maintaining and refining the lab testing for cameras, and as the main camera tester, he used and wrote reviews of many of the cameras released in that timeframe.Fortunately, I have a friend from China who helped me read them over, although he stated that they were not well-written even in Chinese! Its grip protrudes slightly from the front of the camera, and the back includes a small rest for your thumb. The engineering is interesting, with lots of small parts that indicates a lot of thought was put into making the gadget actually work.

The dishwasher works via two spinning rollers that rotate a plate or bowl and creates scrubbing action against the included brushes.Whether it’s finding great products or discovering helpful advice, we’ll help you get it right (the first time). Whether you're dealing with dinner plates, soup bowls, or coffee mugs, this device has got you covered. But we don’t manufacture dishwashers, so what we’re replacing is the human element of cleaning the dishes, like scraping off leftover ingredients, rinsing, putting dishes into the tray, and putting them away.
