The interior is, on closer inspection, a bit too "curated" to have the authenticity its outside suggests. The establishment has a cozy and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a casual meal with friends or family. Meal was eatable but nothing special, and the bar itself was furnished with old chairs etc and looked as if it needed a good clean.

Visited while staying in moreton in marsh strange cluttered pub with restaurant area in a conservatory which could be lovely if it wasn't full of what I consider tat but the owners love it for whichever reason and it's their pub.It was ideal for us, excellent choice of menu, excellent service too, would be happy to visit again. The restaurant decor was confusing, with nostalgic pictures and modern pictures, various clocks, bird cages, display cabinet, and varied light throughout' some areas very brightly lit, other areas very dim, and the main areas somewhere in between. The publican was a friendly old rocker who played some good vinyls while we ate our meal in the dining room.

A bit of huffing and puffing behind the bar wasn’t quite the warm and friendly welcome one would expect - perhaps that’s why the place was empty? Great British food and beverages keeps diners coming back for more at The Swan Inn - Moreton in Marsh.Landlord plays guitar and the piped music is eclectic to say the least (it is played quietly though). Sat in the bar for half an hour with the barman playing videos or something on a laptop, the language coming from this would not have been acceptable to some ! Olive – the dog – is in disgrace after chewing through her lead within five minutes of arriving, and is in the back of the car. The rooms are tastefully decorated and equipped with all the modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The Bell is a traditional coaching Inn situated in the market town of Moreton in Marsh in the northern Cotswolds. The wood oven uses local chestnut, and whether from boat, field, farm, herd of flock – it says – almost everything on the plate comes from nearby. The curtains are good quality, but not fitted well where it seemed that some of the hooks are no longer attached to the curtain rail.
