I’ve been using the cream for a week now and really feel like my skin has benefitted from wearing something lighter throughout the day.after reading numerous forums about it, I learned that the cream should be applied to damp skin or, as I do, I squeeze the desired amount of cream into my palm and slightly dilute it with water.

All in all, I'm really happy with this CC Cream from La Roche Posay and I think it is a great option for anyone who wants to mask redness in their skin but are looking for something that feels more like skincare than heavy make-up. After two attempts to get used to it, I gave up on it and wanted to throw it away because I wouldn't even give such a "miracle" to someone else. It doesn't hide any obvious flaws, and for some reason, my pores are very noticeable with it, although I don't have the same issue with the foundation (also from La Roche).To get rid of peeling, I started using a gentle scrub for sensitive skin every evening and using it daily.

I have been looking for a BB or CC cream to use on the days when my skin is looking good and I didn’t want to use full on foundation so this is the one I chose. I have oily and problematic skin, and this cream perfectly masks and applies in a thin layer, making my skin look flawless. I'll definitely be continuing to use this throughout the summer and no doubt I'll feature more 'face of the day' photos featuring it! I have been using this as a base and then applying powder foundation over the top and that has been the best way to use for me as it doesn’t give enough coverage on its own.

As for the pros - it smells nice, has a pleasant texture, leaves the skin very soft to the touch, easy to apply, and nourishes the skin (it would be great for dry skin).

It is a tad heavier than the base I'd been using previously - Bourjois' CC Cream, review here - but I prefer the finish the La Roche Posay CC Cream gives and I also don't have to worry so much about powdering my t-zone which makes it less hassle to wear. I mix it with a moisturizing cream before applying it, and it lays perfectly on the skin, has a pleasant texture. It's a shame that the cream only comes in one shade because I can only use it in the summer when my skin is tanned, but it looks yellow and unattractive at other times, even without redness. I have a lot of redness and some veins in my cheeks and this does a great job of covering those and looks great if just worn alone as well. By the way, blending it is a problem, it's so dense and sets so quickly that it streaks with every touch.
