Rather than applying powder over powder when I get oily, I use the defender to absorb the oil and minimize my pores. I've tried setting powders and blotting tissues to minimize the shine and oily look I get on my forehead and around the nose with no success until I got this product to try. Those with fine lines and pores (this will diffuse those areas and give an airbrushed appearance however it won’t fill the areas). I've only tried it twice so far - it's not bad, you do have to be careful it doesn't dislodge your foudnation (I use BM), but if you sort of splodge it on rather than sweep, it seems to hold.
