As part of the Marvel miniseries, The Angel Experiment was adapted as a comic under the title Max Ride: First Flight. These are wolf-like hunters that metamorph into lupine form whenever they wish to ravage their prey. First edition uncorrected proof copy, octavo softcover (nr fine); all our specials have minimal description to keep listing them viable.

I recommend this book to anyone (preferably over 8 or 9 as of some mildly strong language) with a big imagination. The finished film, directed by Jay Martin, was released on Digital HD in August 2016 and followed the events of the first half of The Angel Experiment. They run away and decide to take the subway to Central Park, but instead notice a light and follow it into an underground city in the abandoned tunnels. After finishing it a few minutes ago, I have to say it stacks up to what I thought it was back in the day.While Max spends a second night at the Martinez house making homemade chocolate chip cookies, Gazzy and Iggy arrive at Lake Mead and are reunited with Fang and Nudge. When cops arrive, the Flock smashes out of the restaurant without their food and land in some trees, where they are caught by Erasers.

This is my first James Patterson, so I'm not entirely sure about his writing style, but I guess the way he's written this book was as if it was the protagonist. Hawk/Phoenix: the daughter of Max and Fang and the protagonist of the books Hawk and City of the Dead. He’s given over a million books to school kids and over forty million dollars to support education, and endowed over five thousand college scholarships for teachers. The book is set in the near future and centers around the " Flock," a group of avian-human hybrids (98% human, 2% bird), on the run from the scientists who created them. They arrive in New York and continue lying low, hiding from Erasers, and sleeping in the trees of Central Park.Aside, of course, from the fact that they're prime prey for Erasers - wicked wolf-like creatures with a taste for flying humans. Cleveland Plain Dealer described it as "like the best sort of video game or action movie, in book form" and commented that it "shows the promise of becoming a favorite" as well as comparing it to the Boxcar Children series: "Think of this group of six, from 14-year-old Max to 6-year-old Angel, like the 'Boxcar Children' of a new millennium.

Also, the chapters weren't very effective when it came to the cliffhangers at the end of it because there were 3 pages in every chapter or less. Here, there's a "family" of laboratory-created children that are winged flyers (like Angel, from said X-Men,) who escaped from their "school.Max, Fang and the others make a submarine trip beneath the ocean, rescuing Max's mother and befriending undersea monsters.
