Unfortunately, the two stories run parallel to each other, so there was a lot of repetition of scenes and conversations with this couple (Jaeger and Cali) that I'd already read in Mountain Man. Only my plans are beginning to unravel and now visions of Jaeger’s hard abs, broad shoulders, and intense green eyes fill my head. Cali wasn't looking for a fresh start when she and her best friend Gen decided to come back to Cali's hometown in Lake Tahoe for the summer. I liked this story though it seemed a bit slow paced and i wasnt really sure i liked cali to be honest she seemed to come across as the confident friend but actually was quite selfish believing she knew better when she wasnt even brave enough or see what was in front of her with eric her crap boyfriend and just doing what she thought she had to do to be successful.
